Turn changing fixtures into understandable event channels
Build numbered sports pools, discover supported home/away/network feeds and publish guide-aware outputs without changing every downstream channel URL.

A slot keeps its output identity while scheduled events change. It is useful for M3U/XUI workflows and fixed downstream channels. xOTT Play can expose entitled native events directly, so a slot is not mandatory for every native-player event.
Organize NHL, NFL or other competition pools with matching rules and playlist groups. Groups name categories; they do not grant subscriber access or magically filter provider data. Use real catalogue competition/team metadata.
Map feeds automatically without guessing
Choose One feed per game, Primary team & network TV feeds or All available TV feeds. In automatic multi-feed pools leave each row’s Feed preference on Automatic / any. Strict Home/Away rules intentionally wait when their exact role is unavailable.
A public schedule may list broadcasters before the provider publishes playable feed IDs. Feed discovery diagnostics distinguish pending, unclassified and unassigned broadcasts. Two account copies of one identified broadcast are not extra games.
Pick the right scheduling tradeoff
Rolling schedule keeps nearer upcoming matches first inside equivalent rule pools while preserving playing/starting/recovering assignments. Calendar-week locking holds reservations for advance scheduling, at the cost of some numbered channels no longer looking globally chronological.
Optional XMLTV advertises mapped events with known start/end times. It does not invent reliable durations or freeze a Rolling pool. Downstream recording software must follow refreshed guide data and the operator’s chosen locking policy.
Account control without a gapless promise
Pin a slot to an account, use ordinary Automatic selection or spread new assignments with Automatic / balance accounts. Provider entitlements and concurrency limits still apply. Opt-in same-event recovery requires confirmed account failure and a verified compatible alternate live feed; it is not a reaction to every CDN timeout.
Stable URLs can still involve a player reconnect. Follow the beginner slot guide for exact field values, a grouped-playlist example, auto-start gates and recording caveats.
