DRM streaming management with a complete operating workflow
Manage supported DRM service accounts, device/runtime preferences and authorized media delivery alongside live operations, VOD, subscribers and monitoring.

DRM stream management coordinates the source account, supported service adapter, compatible runtime/device preference and resulting media workflow. Provider rights, region and source availability still apply. A successful login or parsed device file alone is not proof that every title can play.
xOTT does not promise a universal DRM bypass or support for every provider, security level, title or resolution. Test the actual authorized account and source you intend to operate.
Keep device preferences visible and scoped
Settings → DRM Services provides separate Widevine, PlayReady and Chromium inventory views. Review enabled state, active uses and saved preferences before changing a working deployment. Account preferences take precedence over service preferences, while existing provider-specific choices remain meaningful.
This avoids treating one failing account as a reason to change every service. Use logs to separate authentication, manifest retrieval, licensing, media transport and processing failures.
An explicit Chromium/CDM path—not a hidden default
Compatible on-demand/VOD workflows can use a locally prepared, registered Chromium/CDM runtime with Transcode mode. Runtime preparation and host verification are explicit operations; they do not log in to a provider or install a runtime on every worker.
The current native Chromium workflow does not support live native inputs. The release history records scoped qualification rather than a guarantee of every service or 4K playback. The setup guide explains readiness, bindings, processing requirements and safe maintenance.
DASH/HLS acquisition is only one part of operation
Source resolution, copy/remux compatibility and optional encoding affect the media path. Subscriber delivery then needs stable generated URLs, permitted packages and compatible clients. xOTT adds channel/event automation, a published VOD library, worker management, XMLTV and xOTT Play around those media operations.
Explore included provider adapters and optional encoding to choose the narrowest workflow that solves your requirement.
